Jo Smells Funny!
This isn't so much as a statement, more an attack on the politics of today.
'Jo' is the sales manager and she represents authority and therefore all that's wrong with democracy. She herself is Blair! She is Bush! She is all the other leaders of the world that don't listen to the little people. "Don't go to war" we say, "Sorry I can't hear you I have cheese in my ears" says Jo.......is this because she is closing her mind to he opinion of the masses, is it because she wants oil, or is it just that she's a little slow and thought sticking cheese in her ears would keep her warm.....you decide.
By funny I no longer mean all that's good in the world...too laugh is a gift, a gift that is slowly being strangled to death by the stain on the world that is government...."boo" I say and "boo" is what is heard throughout the green green grass of Kent. I can't hear what they are saying up north but I'm guessing it's "boo" in a different accent (one thats harder to understand). So by funny I meant funky and I don't mean funky in a good way...........funky as we know it died in the 70's before Thatcher game and stuffed it in her pocket and pulled it back out as the Falklands war....why did we go, those poor sheep.
Funky now means stink, yes stink....stink, stink, stink. I know that means the title of this piece is now interpreted as 'Authority Smells Of Stink', but hey aren't I right? aren't we all right? no we aren't....we are slowly being swallowed by a giant beast named Great Britain, it's got horns and pointy bits, I haven't decided yet whether it breaths fire or not.
Flip reverse (no not a reference to enjoying intercourse up the down chute) this and we could say it's just a piece of blue tack spelling out "Jo Smells Funny!" on a desk...written by a guy whose down wind of a woman who likes to trump every now and again.
As Bob Geldof once said "viva la revolution!!", although I'm not sure how much I follow his idealism coz he doesn't wash and smells funny.
